Prices

The prices per accommodation can vary daily. How is this possible?

The rental prices displayed on HolidayParkSpecials can fluctuate daily. This can be due to several factors. For example, prices are shown based on location and availability, such as a date that is very popular or when fewer accommodations are available. Therefore, holiday parks have the ability to adjust their prices and availability 24 hours a day for the HolidayParkSpecials website.

Are the prices at HolidayParkSpecials calculated per person or per accommodation?

The rental prices you see on HolidayParkSpecials are current prices and are displayed per accommodation. However, some mandatory and optional fees are calculated per person. Therefore, the total price of your holiday stay depends on the age and size of your travel group.

Do I have to pay reservation fees?

Yes, for every reservation, you will need to pay reservation fees. The amount of these fees depends on the holiday accommodation you have booked. These reservation fees are not handled through HolidayParkSpecials; instead, you pay them directly to the respective holiday park.

What additional costs will be charged?

In addition to the rental price of your holiday accommodation, mandatory surcharges may be applied per reservation. On the website, under the rental price of the accommodation types, you will find 'Price Explanation'. This section details which costs are included and which are not.

Surcharges
For additional services, such as pet fees, bed linen, final cleaning, and other extras, such as a baby cot, the holiday park may charge extra costs per reservation.

Municipal Taxes
The prices displayed on HolidayParkSpecials are current prices, including VAT.

However, the prices are usually almost always exclusive of any tourist taxes and other levies, such as environmental charges and local taxes. These taxes are not paid directly to the municipality but are passed on by the holiday park where you are staying. The holiday park ultimately pays the taxes to the municipality. Therefore, the costs vary depending on the destination and/or holiday park.

Travel and/or Cancellation Insurance
Costs for any travel and/or cancellation insurance will only be charged if you add these to your reservation.

Do I also need to pay a deposit?

It may vary by holiday park whether a deposit is required. You can find the amount of any deposit in the invoice you received from the holiday park.

If your holiday accommodation is left clean and in accordance with the holiday park's cleaning guidelines, the holiday park will refund the full deposit to your account as soon as possible. Generally, you will receive the deposit no later than 14 days after departure.

Why have I not received my deposit back or only partially?

The deposit, or part of it, is usually refunded within 14 days after departure. In some holiday parks, this may take longer. Have you been waiting for more than 14 days? Then please contact the reception of the holiday park where you stayed.

It is also possible that (a part of) your deposit has been withheld because the accommodation was not left clean and according to the cleaning regulations of the holiday park. In both cases, you should have already received a notification about this. If this does not apply to you, please contact the reception of the respective holiday park.
